Current Projects

Areas of Research

We are constantly undertaking multiple projects in the lab, and are publishing research constantly. For a list of our published works, see Dr. Jakobi’s google scholar.

Our current areas of research include:

  • The effect of Motor Imagery Training on force steadiness
  • Force steadiness through phases of the menstrual cycle
  • Fall-risk prediction using an AI model
  • The effect of tendon mechanics on force modulation in males and females
  • The influence of medication on force steadiness in persons with Parkinson’s disease
  • The effects of interlimb asymmetries on functional decline
