Congratulations to Olga Theou!

We want to congratulate Olga Theou, a HEAL lab alumni, as the Canada Research Chair in Physical Activity, Mobility and Healthy Aging at Dalhousie University. The Canada Research Chairs (CRC) program supports research and research training excellence in engineering and natural sciences, health sciences, humanities, and social sciences fields.

The goals of Dr. Theou’s CRC program are to understand how frailty can be identified and managed in community, clinical and long-term care settings, and whether reducing sedentary behaviours may lead to improved health outcomes in these settings. Olga is excited about her research and collaboration that aim to improve the depth of knowledge in disability, mobility, health, and quality of life. We are looking forward to continued collaborations with her on understanding Frailty.
