Session: Using Physical Activity as an Approach to Healthy and Successful Aging

 

Join Dr. Jennifer Jakobi, Professor at the University British Columbia Okanagan in the School of Health and Exercise Sciences, to explore approaches to successful aging and how physical activity can be used as a tool for aging well.

Dr. Jakobi looks forward to sharing research and strategies on:
• what successful aging (might) mean to you as an individual
• the reality of needing to be tough to age well
• how physical activity creates benefits for you – being a successful ager!
